Introducing Shock Wave Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is incredibly common. According to a study from the Cleveland Clinic, "approximately 40% of men are affected at age 40 and nearly 70% of men are affected at age 70."

Vascular issues are often the cause of ED. Put simply: there's not sufficient blood flow to the penis to achieve and/or maintain an erection.

Numerous treatment options exist for ED, ranging from medications to penile implants. For those who don't want to use medications or undergo surgery, shock wave treatment for erectile dysfunction is now available as well.

Currently, our Framingham and Milton Care Centers offer this option under Dr. Michael P. Donovan (Framingham) and Dr. James C. Lin (Milton).

This particular shock wave treatment uses the latest Swiss technology system, the DUOLITH SD-1, to improve blood flow to the penis for longer lasting results.

This system provides many benefits:

  • Done in the comfort of the doctor's office
  • No medication or surgery needed
  • Short treatment sessions
  • No side effects
  • No anesthesia required

If you'd like to know if shock wave treatment for ED is right for you, make an appointment with Dr. Donovan or Dr. Lin to discuss and learn more.
